“Set Me Free” Original Mixed-Media Art Collage Painting on Watercolor Paper

I wonder how this one may speak to you? I didn’t paint it with Independence day in mind. Yet, as synchronicity happens, I painted it earlier this week as my self care act/time of the day. It was such a gift to spend a few hours playfully painting with great music after so much time spent working on my book this year. The words were prompted from the lyrics in a song and so many other mysteries and layers of life! This was the first painting of the evening. It flowed fully forth so fast and freely followed by a few more and some dancing. It has a playlist that goes with it. I’ll send the link with purchase.

I’m reminded of some words from a metta prayer that hangs in our home:

“May all beings awaken to
the light of their true nature.
May all beings be free.”

“Set Me Free” Original Mixed-Media Art Collage Painting on Watercolor Paper

I wonder how this one may speak to you? I didn’t paint it with Independence day in mind. Yet, as synchronicity happens, I painted it earlier this week as my self care act/time of the day. The journal also has a small pocket sewn into the front cover when it is being made.
