This book was inspired by a collaborative painting Jules made with Judith Schaller from Germany and a poem Jules wrote prompted by that painting. Excerpts from the poem became affirmations and loving reminders with a healthy dose of flower power. The original poem was expanded upon and rearranged to create an art picture book with the verses. While the book can surely be enjoyed by children, it is for people who are honoring your own inherent value, embracing your sensual and creative nature, and appreciating many qualities that have been considered more feminine through the ages. The language and symbolism reflect that.

About the Author:

Julia Ostara, aka Jules, lives in the ancient Appalachians with twin boys, a guitar man, a feisty orange tabby cat, and many woodland creatures. She might appear to be a mundane, middle-age, homeschool mom with ridiculous grocery bills. Yet, she is painting the story of a magical opti-mystic mountain momma, thrivivalist, explorer, and presenter casting rainbows all around her. She’s the creator of two inspiring oracle card decks and fun online creative courses & celebrations.
