Welcome and thank you for spending this short visit with me. I hope you’ll enjoy this twist on Inktober and Oktoberfest combined for Inktoberfest. Each week this month, I’ll be unboxing a new set of alcohol inks and creating various demo projects. I hope you’ll enjoy exploring the possibilities along with me. You may wish to subscribe to Thrive True with Jules on youtube to see each video when it is released. You can find the supply list at the end of this post. Cheers!
These are examples of what can be created with just a few simple supplies, a playful spirit, and a moment to explore the beauty within and around you. If you choose to make something inspired by this or anything else for Inktober, you can share in a group for co-creative artists. We’d love to see your creations!
Doing this 4 part series inspired a new offering about ink art to expand upon all that I’ve been learning in these explorations. You can find more about that at ThriveTrue.com/Inktastic. Projects include abstract, batik, botanical, and impressionist energy art. They are all infused with reverence, wonder, and good vibes.
You can learn more the Year in Painting summit (featuring several creative guides) or the Painted Ladies online course if you’d like to explore further with me in that way.
You can also enjoy bonus downloadable gifts, updates special offers, and seasonal give-aways reserved for email acquaintances from ThriveTrue.com/magicmail. Recipients are selected randomly from current email subscribers around each equinox and solstice. Items could include inspiration card decks, books, art prints, or original art!
You can see Part 2 in this series at ThriveTrue.com/inkunbox2.
You might also enjoy the following video from a few years ago as well. It was created on a beautiful autumn day. I love the feeling of fresh air, dappled sunshine, spontaneity and fun flow in the video. The video below features Amsterdam acrylic inks with water and a hake brush. You can also get a free PDF with links to many favorite supplies at ThriveTrue.com/artsupplies. Enjoy!
Thank You for watching. If you found it valuable and would like to practice reciprocity, you can make a donation of any amount at: ThriveTrue.com/donate. Your support helps to plant trees on the homestead, maintain a small woodland sanctuary for wildlife, plus shelter and feed a family of four. Every bit is appreciated.
You can also help spread the joy by sharing the video with any creative friends who might enjoy it (there are sharing buttons down below the end of this post). Thanks!
