Women Gathering & Growing

There is a special kind of magic and medicine in the gathering of women who choose to support one another and grow together. I’m grateful for these experiences and learning how to host them from an amazing artist, Alena Hennessy, who has hosted retreats in Bali, Italy, and the ancient Appalachian mountains I call home. I’ve been to a few of her Soul Painting events in Asheville before and dream of joining her in Bali or India some day. This time, I was blessed to participate in a weekend workshop all about facilitating these kinds of events.

I’ve already been overflowing with ideas and exploring venue options! You can sign up to be the first to know about new courses, retreats, and gatherings at ThriveTrue.com/MagicMail. I will always announce them through email first before sharing registration links on social media (due to limited spaces and for special offers!).

I wish I had taken more pictures at Alena’s lovely home studio and sanctuary! Here are a few glimpses of the inspiration, notes, art, and grand finale photo op with incredible one-of-a-kind head dresses! {There is more to that story for another post about that experience and the fabulous designer, Ka Amorastreya, whose soul I was fortunate to see during the retreat.}

I’m glad I took a voice recorder to capture ideas that way since I couldn’t take notes while focusing on the winding scenic drive home through the Nantahala River Gorge. The next day, I went to a lovely local garden with my family that might be one of the locations for a future weekend retreat to explore the wisdom, wonder, and wilderness within through ritual and creativity. I’ve also been thinking about more online offerings to support and fan the flames of curiosity, creativity, and celebration. So many exciting ideas! Have you ever participated in this sort of thing? If so, what did you love about the experience? Would you have preferred any changes? Feel free to share in the comments. I’m open to input so I can make these the most magical moments possible!

Now, it’s time to prioritize so I can tend the seeds and share the sweet fruit. I’ll be sending out a survey soon to see what interests others the most. Remember to sign up if you want to know about early bird specials when registration opens at ThriveTrue.com/MagicMail.

Wild Wonderful Well Wishes to You!

Love,

Jules
