This painting seems appropriate for the changing seasons and equinox coming this month. It was probably painted in the Spring over a year ago, yet it reminds me of the harvest season as well. It was inspired by the apple trees on our small homestead. I probably intended to paint over part of it or change it eventually. When I came across it while moving paintings recently, it had a wonderful message for me. All it wanted was to be wrapped in love.
So, I finished it by painting the edges and accepting it’s wild beauty just the way it is. It inspired me to write a poem about self acceptance.
I hope you can wrap yourself in love today as well.
