"Unfurling" Original Art on 20x20" Wrapped Canvas. Ready to Hang. This painting was such a blessing to create. After several wild and flowing layers of paint, I added the illustrations while sitting on the front porch with my kids (during homeschool observations). All of the botanical motifs were inspired by plants growing on the land around my home in the Southern Appalachian Mountains. The feather was the final touch inspired by the hawk that flew over while I was working on it. I looked up hawk spirit medicine and it had to do with vision. The title was inspired by the ferns that I love to watch unfurl. This is part of the "Growing Season" collection of paintings. Grateful Heart Angel Folk Art Postcards
"Grateful Heart" Folk Art Angel Postcard ~ Available in Sets of 5 Angel is another term for messenger. May this messenger inspire and encourage. The postcards are printed from a high resolution scan of an original mixed-media painting. The wings for the angel were made using actual maple leaves. The cornucopia was added with burlap. The bird nest is made of threads. The background is painted over sheet music. The message reads: the grateful heart sits at a continuous feast. May it be so. ♡ I tried to listen and let the angel share kind and encouraging messages. You can place the card on an altar, shelf, or desk or place in the mail to pass it on.
