The handmade journal has several decorative paper pages (both scrapbooking papers and recycled papers are used) inside a sewn fabric journal cover. The journal also has a small pocket sewn into the front cover when it is being made.
These are great for gratitude journals, quote collections, mini scrapbooks with pictures, guest books, poetry, funny things kids say, travel notes, bridal or baby shower notes, hopes, dreams, prayers, love letters to life and ourselves... so many lovely possibilities. I keep a guest book in our home and it's so fun to go back and read what visitors have said in the past. My kids and I use them for personal gratitude journals and quote collections. I also use one similar to this for Thanksgiving as a combination guest book and gratitude journal that can be easily taken with me to the celebration, whether at my home or elsewhere, so everyone can add what they are thankful for over the years.
I have another one I use for love letters to life and myself. :)
The journal cover measures approximately 3.5 x 3.5 inches. It has yarn to wrap around the heart button to hold it closed and 125 pages. The paper pages are slightly smaller than the cover and vary in size. I like the texture of ripped edges so the pages inside may have some purposely torn edges. Some pages have been painted or stamped as well.

While the print doesn't have the additional glitter, it still captures the shimmering essence well. This intuitive painting made me think of stairways to heavens in memory of our loved ones that have gone before us.

The original painting this is printed from was inspired by the sparkling sunshine on the creek water by our home and the curling vines during a winter walk along with an idea I heard from Ram Dass that we may “live in love.” For such a seemingly simple piece, it has sparked quite a bit of wonder. “Memorial Garden Dance” Print
Celebrating generosity and beautiful blessings, profits from this print go to the charity, Together Rising. I changed the charity after learning how little of the donations to March of Dimes went towards their mission. My twin boys were born 3 months early so that hit home for me. Thankfully, they are thriving teens now! I looked up one night while pausing with this painting and wondering what to do next. I saw praying hands in front of me on the shelf... which led to this. 💞 I do so love when a marvelous mess of paint magically turns into something I adore and appreciate deeply... that is what I call the "magic and medicine found in art" (which is an online course I'll be hosting at some point... the vision has been with me a while and evolving). It's an interesting mix of happy accidents and trusting the inner muse and messenger and the strength and compassion of a healing heart. 💖 It is a painted prayer for all of us. I feel that along with prayers, we are responsible for our actions. I do my best to live as freely and fully as I can in honor of those who's lives have seemed to short ~ May we live gracefully, joyfully, wonderfully, beautifully, playfully, gratefully.

“See the Pure Light” Print
Celebrating generosity and beautiful blessings, profits from this print go to the charity, Seva. "Seva transforms lives and strengthens communities by restoring sight and preventing blindness. They provide critical eye care to underserved communities, especially women, children, and indigenous peoples. 36 million people in the world are blind. 75% of them could see again. Restoring sight is one of the most effective ways to relieve suffering and reduce poverty." This is another cause that hits home for me. Both of my boys are partially color blind and one of them needs strong glasses to see much beyond what he can reach with his hands. There is so much beauty in this world to be seen.

Angel Presence Folk Art Postcards
"Angel Presence" Folk Art Postcard ~ Available in Sets of 5
Angel is another term for messenger. May this messenger inspire and encourage. The postcards are printed from a high resolution scan of an original mixed-media painting. The wings for the angel were made using a paper doily. Her skirt is painted sheet music and there is sand embedded in the hourglass. The background was made with paper towels that had been during tie-dye projects. The message reads: embrace the present.
I tried to listen and let the angel share kind and encouraging messages. You can place the card on an altar, shelf, or desk or place in the mail to pass it on. These could also be left in public restrooms, dressing rooms, doctor's waiting rooms, or where ever else you may roam that you'd like to leave a trail spreading seeds of kindness and scattering sweet smiles.
Of course, any watermarks for sharing on the web do not appear on prints.
