“Stairways to Heaven” Print
This print is from an original painting that has bits of sparkling “fairy dust!” ? I used metallic gold paint that shimmers along with sparkling glitter in a few areas which makes the original shine. While the print doesn't have the additional glitter, it still captures the shimmering essence well. This intuitive painting made me think of stairways to heavens in memory of our loved ones that have gone before us.

Custom Made to Order Handmade Journal

This listing is to request a custom made to order unique journal for your songs. The pictures are an example of one I've made and sold in the past. Each one is different based on the fabric, papers, and embellishments I have at the time. Please allow 2 weeks time in addition to shipping. You can add comments with your order if you'd like to discuss it before it is made.
The handmade journals have several decorative paper pages (both scrapbooking papers and recycled papers are used) inside a sewn fabric journal cover. The journals also have a small pocket sewn into the front cover when being made.
These are great for gratitude journals, quote collections, mini scrapbooks with pictures, guest books, poetry, funny things kids say, travel notes, bridal or baby shower notes, hopes, dreams, prayers, love letters to life and ourselves... so many lovely possibilities. I keep a guest book in our home and it's so fun to go back and read what visitors have said in the past. My kids and I use them for personal gratitude journals and quote collections. I also use one similar to this for Thanksgiving as a combination guest book and gratitude journal that can be easily taken with me to the celebration, whether at my home or elsewhere, so everyone can add what they are thankful for over the years.
The journals measure approximately 4 x 6 inches. The paper pages are slightly smaller inside. I like the texture of ripped edges so the pages inside vary slightly and have some purposely torn edges.

This one tells a very personal and healing story for me. It is about reclaiming our joy, worth, and pure presence. Seems fitting after the journey to finish my book about dancing with delight, livening up, and letting our hearts sing. I looked up one night while pausing with this painting and wondering what to do next. I saw praying hands in front of me on the shelf... which led to this. 💞 I do so love when a marvelous mess of paint magically turns into something I adore and appreciate deeply... that is what I call the "magic and medicine found in art" (which is an online course I'll be hosting at some point... the vision has been with me a while and evolving). It's an interesting mix of happy accidents and trusting the inner muse and messenger and the strength and compassion of a healing heart. 💖 It is a painted prayer for all of us. I feel that along with prayers, we are responsible for our actions. I do my best to live as freely and fully as I can in honor of those who's lives have seemed to short ~ May we live gracefully, joyfully, wonderfully, beautifully, playfully, gratefully.
