Lighting a Candle & Painting Flowers (as promised earlier today). <3 This painting was inspired by the recent video of the father in Paris telling his son that “we have flowers,” which I will share below as well. I definitely don’t have all the answers when it comes to this type of situation. So this was also a way for me to spend some time attempting meditation or contemplation and dedicating time in loving tribute. I may not be the best artist, yet the art comes from my heart.

PS – The music was recorded this evening with a little handheld device while my husband played the keyboard in our living room so please excuse any other sounds (I did not ask his permission and he didn’t see me). Also, thanks to Kimberly Ans for her lovely lesson this week for the Art of Gratitude course on painting flowers which helped guide me during this process.
I am grateful to have witnessed the video of the father choosing to focus on love over fear and the sweet smile of relief from the little boy. <3
Hmmm…. it might be asking me to add a wine glass on the left… because, well, it’s Paris! 😉
