Blessed to have some amazing fathers around us, my Dad, my brother, and my husband along with many cousins and friends… happy father’s day to all of you and thank you for all the love and support you give. This day also marks 4 years since my mom got her angel wings and moved on to the next mystery that awaits us in heaven. Grateful for the love she showered us with and the many wonderful memories.
Remembering how much my mom loved life and how much joy she had and that she would want us to be celebrating the good times and memories and making more not shedding tears. Her attitude towards life was such a blessing and taught me and has stuck with me to focus on the sweet instead of the bitter.
My parents also loved to dance. They taught me to dance, both literally and with life. I still dance with my Dad when I get the chance and today I am reminded of a favorite quote by Vivian Greene — ‘Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass…It’s about learning to dance in the rain.’

Thanks to an afternoon rain shower, I actually went out in the front yard and danced in the rain today! 🙂 It did brighten my heart and wash away some of the pain.
