I often find myself Painting Prayers, whether for someone dear to me having surgery, for a country ravished by fire, or for the world. Who else paints your hopes, prayers, and dreams? The first e-course I ever offered years ago was called “Painted Prayers.” My art has grown and evolved so much since then, yet the energy is still rooted in life and love.
I’ve recently done a few Painted Prayers and Rain Dances for Australia’s areas effected by wildfires. I’m offering both of them to the @artforfires auction. 100% of the proceeds donated directly to 3 charities for Australia’s bush fire relief. Although bidding for the originals is now over and they are on the way to their new homes, you can still help me raise money. I will continue to donate 50% of the profits from prints of these specific paintings through January 31st!
The first painting (above) was originally called “Galactic Garden” until it started singing to me that is the song of a “Rainstick and a Didgeridoo.” I was dancing in between while layers were drying so maybe that energy is embedded within it! I painted it during a collective prayer time when many people around the world were putting attention toward relief. 100% of the proceeds from this original painting were donated to NSW Wildlife Information Rescue and Education Service (WIRES) and NSW Rural Fire Service.
Prints are now available and 50% of profits will be donated through Jan. 31st!
Bidding for the original is now closed. It is on the way to a wonderful home in Australia!
I contributed one more original painting (directly above) that is another Painted Prayer finished during the auction. It is called “What the Skies Have Seen” ~ Inspired by a song that came on while I was painting it called “Remembering a Beginning” by Elephant Revival. This painting has it’s own short playlist shared below. It took me on quite a journey and is full of resilience and rejuvenation energy and prayers.100% of the proceeds for this painting were donated to Wildlife Victoria.

Here is the short playlist for the last painting. The first 3 songs came on while I was painting it and felt so fitting… synchronicity?!
My heart goes out to those in Australia right now. Though I live in the U.S., Australia has been a big part of my life. My parents started a company importing sheep shearing equipment and fence materials from New Zealand and Australia when I was 3 years old (from their farm at the end of a dirt road in rural West Virginia). That was 40 years ago! We frequently had visitors from ‘Down Under’ and I was also fortunate to go with my parents on a ‘business’ trip when I was a teenager. We met with their suppliers in various parts of the country and visited farms along with the usual tourist stuff. I’m delighted that the two paintings created specifically with Australia’s relief in heart and mind will be living in Australia now!
Participating in a collective prayer also felt fitting for the “synergy” word prompt that I shared with the free art group I host for this first week of January. Join us anytime! 💞
I’ve also recorded the process for the Painted Prayers to share in a new upcoming course. You can be the first to get updates and special offers from ThriveTrue.com/MagicMail.
Wonderful Wishes to You!

Jules

What a wonderful story and I love the depth of feeling and thought that goes into every creation you make. My family is delighted to have these prayers in our home. Australia needs as many prayers as we can get at the moment with the changing climate by the day. I know the energy from these paintings will help our country and all the people who are fighting these fires.
