And so grateful for these classes that I’ve been blessed to take:

Nope, I don’t have a fine arts degree.  Yep, I’m still calling myself an artist. 😉  It’s taken a while for me to speak up and claim that (I spent 4 years creating all sorts of things and doing a library self-study program on my own before I started the blog and etsy shop). Instead of a degree, I’m blessed to be doing an on-going self-directed art program. 🙂 <3
I am extremely grateful for the plethora of opportunities that exist these days!

I think there is probably a difference between going to a formal art school (where I assume the teachers are assigned/required) and having the freedom to choose our teachers (doing self-study that is not for a fine art degree).  We can choose teachers that appeal to us and seem to ‘speak’ the language we want to improve upon for ourselves.  To me, this is the best kind of school, lots of learning and encouragement and no grades or competition! 🙂 I’m overflowing with gratitude to be inspired by these teachers and classes.

Honestly, I think we are all artists, life artists!  It is in our very nature to create.  May we all find joy in the art of living. <3
