The journal also has a small pocket sewn into the front cover when it is being made. These are great for gratitude journals, quote collections, mini scrapbooks with pictures, guest books, poetry, funny things kids say, travel notes, bridal or baby shower notes, hopes, dreams, prayers, love letters to life and ourselves... so many lovely possibilities. I keep a guest book in our home and it's so fun to go back and read what visitors have said in the past. My kids and I use them for personal gratitude journals and quote collections. I also use one similar to this for Thanksgiving as a combination guest book and gratitude journal that can be easily taken with me to the celebration, whether at my home or elsewhere, so everyone can add what they are thankful for over the years. I have another one I use for love letters to life and myself. :) The journal measures approximately 4 x 6 inches. The paper pages are slightly smaller inside.
