Love that today, my son, Drew, asked me, “Would you go for a walk in the woods with me, Mom?” and I could say, “Yes, I would LOVE to!” A minute later, after grabbing my camera, we were out the back door. 🙂 Would you like to go for a little virtual walk with us?
 
His simple invitation helped me to be present. Thanks, Drew! We even found a few daisies still blooming on this spectacular autumn day (by Loving Rd. near Blue Ridge, GA).
It’s so easy to let our minds wonder to the past or the future as we think about things we should have done or should be doing, things we miss or might miss! So often, I don’t say yes, even when I can, especially if it has anything to do with video games! So very glad that today, I could and chose to say yes, to my son, to myself, to this moment. I hope this might encourage you to do this more often, too. 🙂
